Rosetown has been the Canadian training ground for the last two CanAm Bowl six-aside football championships, and for the first time in game history will be the host location for the next edition of the game coming up on July 1.
The day represents an all-star game showcase between Team Canada (players from Saskatchewan/Alberta) and Team USA (Montana, Nebraska, Wyoming, & Texas) and has been taking place since July 1997. All players must be recent high school graduates for that year and have played at least their Grade 12 year as a member of a 6-aside team.
Throughout the spring local Rosetown Royals players made their way around the community dropping tickets off to local sponsors. The 2025 game is seeing great support from all over the region in the form of sponsorship and donations, one of the most recent coming from the Rosetown Lions Club.
The game is set to be played under the lights in Rosetown with a fireworks show to follow. The 8:00 PM kickoff will have admission of $10 for adults, $5 for students, kids six and under getting in for free.
