Court proceedings were brief in Kindersley on June 17, with several matters adjourned and only a handful of cases resolved.

Four cases were postponed to July 8, while nine others were adjourned to July 15.

A youth matter was also moved into July, with defence counsel indicating they expect to be ready to set trial dates at that time.

Three cases were moved to September 16, including the matter involving Austin Lancaster. Lancaster is facing charges of assault, assault with a weapon, two counts of failing to comply with a probation order, and kidnapping. Trial dates were set.

A few traffic tickets were addressed. One driver pleaded guilty to travelling 50 km/h over the posted speed limit and was fined $820.

Two cases were resolved through alternative measures and were subsequently dismissed.
