Holy Cross Collegiate rewarded $2,400 for music program

Holy Cross Collegiate's music program has received $2,400.00 from Golden West Broadcasting.

Sarah Haughey, teacher and music coordinator for the program, explained why the money is important to them.

"The donation is very kind and generous, and we will use that money primarily to make trips to festivals and make it more affordable to parents and students."

"The Holy Cross Collegiate music program goes Grades 7 to 12. We had a Grade 7 band, a Grade 8-9 band, a high school band, and we also have a world drumming ensemble and a drumline."
