The Moose Jaw Miller Express picked up a 5–2 win over the 57s in Swift Current on Tuesday night to take three of four games in the series.

After two scoreless innings, Moose Jaw got on the board first in the top of the third. Jackson Yeager hit a single to left field to score Thomas Soto.

Swift Current replied in the bottom of the fourth, scoring a pair of runs to take a 2–1 lead.

Both teams went scoreless through the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth innings.

In the top of the ninth, Evan Deringer hit a solo home run to tie the game. Yeager then drew a walk to bring in Soto for the game-winning run. The Miller Express weren’t done yet—Eduardo Saenz was hit by a pitch to score William Edwards, and Tanner DeGrazia was also hit by a pitch to bring home Austin Gurney, capping a four-run ninth inning.

Pitcher Cristian Garcia and the Miller Express defence then shut the door on the 57s in the bottom half of the inning to secure the win.

Westin Walls got the start on the mound and went six innings, allowing six hits, two earned runs and recording six strikeouts. Garcia came on in relief to pitch the final three innings, allowing just one hit and striking out three.

The Miller Express will look to make it three wins in a row when they host the Regina Red Sox tonight at 7:05 p.m. at Ross Wells Park.
