Donna Mae Cull, late of Ceylon, SK passed away on June 15, 2025 at the age of 67 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Violet DeRoose; her brother, Ron DeRoose and her mother-in law, June Cull.
Donna is survived by her husband of 48 years, Roy Cull; daughters, Leann Focht and her
children, Taylor (Keeryn) Clark and their daughter, Olive, Breanna (Guage) Bartel; Candice (Mo) Alhujairi and their children, Norah and Eden; her son, Clint (Nicole) Cull and their children, Townes and Edna. Donna is also survived by her sisters, Gloria (Joe) Simonot and Nancy (Bob) Wirtz.
Donna Mae DeRoose was born on May 18, 1958 in Radville, SK. She was the youngest of 4 children by Albert and Violet (Gustafson) DeRoose.
In 1976, Donna graduated from R.R.H.S. and worked as a Sasktel operator and at Woolcraft. She married Roy Cull on June 11, 1977 and worked and lived alongside him on their ranch south west of Ceylon, SK. Together they raised two daughters and a son.
Donna rode horse in the PFRA and at home she drove tractors, trucks, combines, anything that had a steering wheel. She kept a huge garden and cooked awesome meals. Donna was a teacher’s aide to special needs students in Ceylon, SK. Later on Donna worked at the Bengough Drug Store and at the Bengough Health Center. Donna served on the Catholic Church Board,
she taught Playschool and was involved in the Ceylon Figure Skating Club. She was also involved in the Gap 4-H Club in Ceylon, taught catechism in both Ceylon and Bengough and served on the Board of the Ceylon/Hardy Credit Union.
Once she retired, Donna worked harder than ever back on the ranch checking cows, farming and gardening.
Donna enjoyed trips to the Black Hills, Yellowstone, Niagara Falls, the Calgary Stampede and short day trips. She especially enjoyed gardening flowers, crocheting, and her granddaughters.
