The Okotoks Farmers' Market will open for the season this afternoon.
The weather forecast is predicting a lot of rain this weekend, which has led to other events being cancelled or postponed, like the Guy Weadick Rodeo in High River.
If the rain manages to hold off, the Farmers' Market will open at 3:30 and run until 6:30 p.m. at its relatively new location.
Last year, Inclusion Foothills moved the market to the Viking's Rental Centre's parking lot.
We are expecting between 10 and 15 mm of rain today, with another 20 to 30 mm of rain expected tonight.
