The Moose Jaw Miller Express suffered a 1–7 loss at the hands of the Medicine Hat Mavericks yesterday. Eduardo Saenz scored the lone run for the Millers, who are back in action again tomorrow, on the road to take on the Sylvan Lake Gulls.

In other WCBL play yesterday, the Regina Red Sox had two wins, going 8–0 and 4–3 during their doubleheader against the Gulls. And the Saskatoon Berries swept the Energy City Cactus Rats, with a 4–3 and a 4–0 win last night.

The Toronto Blue Jays wrapped up their series against the White Sox with a 2–4 loss last night. They're back in action Wednesday against the Guardians in Cleveland.

It was an exciting end to the Riders game over the weekend. It was tied 32–32 with 20-ish seconds left in the fourth when Mario Alford walked it off with a kick return touchdown to break a late tie.

Riders remain undefeated on the season, taking down the Argos 39–32. Good enough for first place in the West. Riders host BC on Saturday.
