Wheatland County and Rocky View County have lifted their fire advisories.

The advisory for Rocky View County was lifted on Monday (June 23), while the Wheatland County advisory was lifted the following day.

The advisories were lifted after a weekend of wet and cold weather which brought around 60 millimeters of rain to the area.

"Although conditions have changed with the recent precipitation, we ask for the public’s continued assistance in remaining vigilant when burning under what restrictions allow," wrote Rocky View County through social media.

There are no more bans in the area, meaning that all permit burning and fireworks are allowed.

Both counties will continue to monitor fire risk conditions throughout the area and may update the advisory, if needed.

"If conditions change, the county will continue to assess the fire risk and may impose a fire ban at any time," added Rocky View County.

You can stay updated on fire advisories, restrictions, and bans in the area by visiting the Alberta Fire Bans website.
