A Kindersley man accused of sexually assaulting a teenager and improperly storing firearms is set to appear in court later this month as his case moves forward in Saskatoon.
Jeffery Houle, 38, is facing multiple charges, including sexual interference, sexual assault, and making sexually explicit material available to a person under 16. He also faces several firearms-related offences, including careless storage, unauthorized possession of a prohibited device, and possession of an unregistered firearm.
A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for June 30 at the Saskatoon Court of King’s Bench. Trial dates have been set for June 8, 2026, also in Saskatoon. The case was originally before the courts in Kindersley before being transferred to the city.
The charges stem from an RCMP investigation launched in late April 2024, after Kindersley RCMP received a report that a teenage girl had been sexually assaulted approximately a month earlier.
On May 2, 2024, officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Stewart Crescent in Kindersley. Police say Houle was arrested at the scene, and several improperly stored firearms were located and seized.
He was formally charged the following day and made his first court appearance on May 3, 2024.
