Despite rallying in the final three innings, the Moose Jaw Miller Express fell 3–6 to the Sylvan Lake Gulls in Western Canadian Baseball League action last night.
The Millers are back at it with a pair of games this afternoon. They hit Legacy Dodge Field in Fort MacMurray to take on the Energy City Cactus Rats at four o'clock, and follow it up by battling the Giants, who are fresh off a 6–0 shutout against the Swift Current 57's at 7.
Both Moose Jaw teams in the Rambler Park Fastball League got a taste of victory last night; the Giants delivered a 17–2 decision to the Highway 22 Cowboys, and the Canadians beat the Earl Grey Rockets 10–8.
The Toronto Blue Jays suffered a 4–5 loss at the hands of the Guardians yesterday. The third and final game of their series in Cleveland gets started this morning at 11.
