'Sprint Kayaking' Clinic coming to Nickle Lake on Canada Day: WCKC

The Weyburn Canoe and Kayak Club is offering a Sprint Kayaking Clinic for all ages tomorrow, Canada Day, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Nickle Lake Regional Park.

No experience or equipment is required to try out the sport, which has been dubbed 'the Formula 1 of paddling', has been an Olympic sport since 1936, and will be coming to the next Saskatchewan Summer Games.

For just $5 per person, anyone can learn how to paddle really fast, with lightweight boats always available at the WCKC's rental facility near the beach at Nickle Lake.
