He leaves to cherish many memories to his sweetheart Josephine Schmidt, common-law spouse of 34 years; sister Heather Weston, niece Lacey (Danny) Fallis; with great-nephews Remington, Sullivan and Danton (Kim) Weston; sisters-in-law Betty Ann Dales & family of Regina, Yvone Fyke & family of Saskatoon, and brother-in-law Dana Anhorn & family of Leader; numerous relatives, friends and his pal Autumn, their dog.

He was predeceased by his parents Fred and Rose Rauch, whom he misses dearly; brothers-in-law Allan Weston, Perry Dales, Allan Fyke; sister-in-law Georgina Anhorn; and their best dog ever, Angel their golden retriever.

He attended his school years in Leader, SK to Grade 12 but in December he quit and wrote his Grade 12 GED in Moose Jaw, graduated in autobody and mechanical repair. The he moved to Saskatoon and worked as a welder with Smith-Rolls for a year when he moved back to Leader to help his parents farm.

In his younger years he trained Bugsy the jack rabbit for a house pet, they even took naps together. Dale was an active Cub and Scout, lived at the swimming pool, enjoyed camping and evening fires at the farm. He had a passion for fishing “I got the big one” and loved hunting geese, “let's spot geese”.

His nickname Rock who never missed a party, enjoyed racing and doing smoke shows with his pride and Joy car his 1969 GTO. His favorite music was LED Zeppelin, ACDC and The Cars and watching The Beverley Hillbillies, Corner Gas, Yellowstone and many movies.

He enjoyed farming, building stuff and could fix anything; he was called ‘Mr. Fix It’. He loved working on old trucks until he got them drivable. He used his autobody skills as a painter many times; he was a very fussy painter. Anytime he was called Dale Dean he knew he did something wrong.

Dale made the best lasagna for many occasions and loved Josie's homemade apple pie. In 1996 Dale and Josie went on a winter vacation to Varadero, Cuba, enjoyed by both.

He had a great sense of humor and loved joking around. Dale enjoyed going for country drives with Josie and taking the dogs for runs.

His favorite saying was "come help me” as we were always there for each other at any given time during our years spent together.

ln winter he always walked around the house and would say “It’s always nice in June".  Being June, family thought it would be the right time to Celebrate Dale’s life.

There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, June 28th, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. held at the Leader Community Hall with Pastor John-Mark Bredeson officiating. Following the service the family invites all to stay for lunch, refreshments and sharing stories or memories of Dale.
