After the busy stretch involving the calls to service above, and a kitchen related fire in a Rosedale sub-division on June 22, a car accident southwest of Kindersley on June 26 represented the next major call out for members.

On Thursday morning at around 8:30 AM, Kindersley Fire along with RCMP and EMS arrived at the scene and found one vehicle on its roof and another still on its wheels, occupants in both vehicles reporting minor injuries as they were evaluated. The scene was secured, and traffic control was conducted for around one hour as all teams were cleared for service by just after 9:30 AM.

After that response, nothing of note came through the dispatch line until Friday morning when a false alarm caused a short half hour response, firefighters responding to the scene and resetting the alarm between 10:11-10:35 AM.

The next dispatch came early Saturday morning after reports of fire alarms ringing, this time at a high occupancy building in town as smoke and fire was reported inside the building's second and third floors.

With multiple tenants unable to evacuate, Kindersley Fire's response included a ladder unit along with multiple pumpers. They were joined on scene by EMS and RCMP and worked together to evacuate all residents safely. SaskEnergy and SaskPower were also on site.

The cause of the fire was determined to be a cooking incident on the 3rd floor. The fire was extinguished, and smoke was left to clear ahead of residents returning to their rooms with all units back in service by 3:00.

Just as members returned to bed, at 5:41 another alarm related outing was caused by a cooking incident, as another short response had personnel back in service by 6:00.
