It’s farmers’ market season, and there are several weekly markets across Foothills County to explore.

Here’s a look at some of the local markets happening each week.

High River

Inclusion Foothills runs the High River Farmers' Market, which runs each Thursday from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.

It's located at 4th Avenue SW, and will run weekly until September 18.

Okotoks

Also organized by Inclusion Foothills, the Okotoks Farmers’ Market takes place on Thursdays from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.

It’s held in the parking lot of the Viking Rentals Centre (204 Community Way).

Millarville

A Southern Alberta summer staple for 43 years, the Millarville Farmers’ Market is held every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Admission is by donation, with a suggested amount of $3.
It runs until October 11 at the Millarville Racing & Agricultural Society (306097 192 Street West, Millarville).

Granary Road

Located just west of De Winton, Granary Road hosts a weekend farmers’ market running Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Longview

The newly-launched Longview Country Market just launched on Saturday, June 28.

It runs each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. until Sept. 27 at 110 Morrison Road, Longview.
