The Town of Diamond Valley is calling on local artists to bring colour, creativity, and community spirit to the heart of the community.
Proposal applications are now open for the design of a mural at the Dr. Lander Memorial Pool.
The town is seeking an artist to design and lead the project, incorporate community input into the design, and include youth volunteers in the painting process.
“This is a great opportunity to showcase your creativity, mentor youth, and engage the community in a meaningful way,” the town said on social media.
Proposals must include an overview of the artists' approach, from concept to completion, their plan to engage youth volunteers, and a proposed budget for planning, design, materials, and implementation.
Applications must be submitted by July 11. To submit a proposal, click here.
The mural will be completed by Aug. 30.
