A show coming to Canada is seeking Airdrie area cooks.
Heather Muir, the casting producer for Come Dine With Me Canada, explained what kind of cooks they are looking for.
"We're looking for people who love hosting great dinner parties and know that they're good at it, maybe slightly competitive is also a good thing."
Those interested in applying must be:
- 19 years old
- Available to film between August and October 2025
- Commit to two full days and four consecutive evenings of filming
- Be Canadian residents
"Five people in the same area, each hosting the others at a dinner party, a three-course meal. At the end of the week, they vote to see whose dinner party was the best, and that person has bragging rights and a bit of a cash prize."
She went on to explain how the idea for this show came about.
"This is a hit international format, but this is the first time that it's going to be airing on Food Network in Canada. So people around the world have fallen in love with this format already, and we're excited to bring it to Canada and go coast to coast with it."
Come Dine with Me Canada will air on Food Network and Citytv+ later in 2025.
