Diamond Valley residents have an opportunity to share their feedback with town council on the proposed Colts Crossing revised Area Structure Plan (ASP).
The first reading of the bylaw was given, and now a public hearing is set for July 16 at 5 p.m. at the Flare 'n Derrick Community Hall.
During the hearing, residents will be able to share their thoughts and concerns before council considers the adoption of the revised ASP.
Colts Crossing is a new community proposed within Diamond Valley, located east of the Kaiser lands.
In the new community, there will be opportunities for new commercial, industrial, and residential growth over the next three decades.
The project is envisioned to accommodate a range of housing options, such as townhomes, semi-detached and detached homes, commercial and industrial businesses, parks, trails, and open space.
Written submissions are welcome and must be received by July 9 at 1 p.m. by email at LegislativeServices@diamondvalley.town or delivered to the town office.
Verbal presentations can be made during the meeting in person or by joining the meeting online. Anyone who is interested in presenting must register by contacting Legislative Services by July 16 at 1 p.m.
