More than 521,000 people have passed through the gates at the Calgary Stampede as of Sunday, organizers said in a July 7 update.
Daily attendance on Sunday, July 6, for Tim Hortons Family Day was 182,063, bringing the 2025 cumulative total to 521,034.
That followed 142,199 visitors on Saturday, July 5, and 161,057 on Friday, July 4, the event’s opening day.
According to the Stampede’s daily updates, total attendance stood at 196,772 after Friday, 338,971 by Saturday, and 521,034 by the end of Sunday.
In 2024, the Calgary Stampede reported 1,331,280 guests over nine days, including a record-setting 201,260 on Family Day and 141,053 on TC Energy Community Day, as stated in a post-event release last year.
The all-time attendance record was set in 2012, with 1,409,371 guests during the centennial celebration.
This year’s event continues through July 13, with TC Energy Community Day set for Tuesday and BMO Kids’ Day on Wednesday.
Free admission is available for all guests from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, with additional morning perks for seniors and veterans. Kids and families will be welcomed with free breakfast and entertainment on Wednesday morning, and children 12 and under are free all day.
