A drug dispute led to a woman being robbed and stabbed in the North End on Friday.

On July 4, a dispute broke out between a 31-year-old female and known acquaintances in the 400 block of Pritchard Avenue. It then broke into a physical fight between the residents and the victim.

The woman was able to escape but was chased down by one of the adults, along with a 12-year-old youth. The victim was thrown to the ground and stabbed as the suspects attempted to steal her purse. The suspects ran off, while the female made it to a nearby store for safety.

The injured female was located in the 500 block of Selkirk Avenue by North District officers. Police did provide emergency medical care until the paramedics arrived. The female was taken to the hospital in unstable condition but has been upgraded to stable condition.

A 35-year-old female, a 33-year-old male, and a 12-year-old youth all face a lengthy list of charges, including robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon.

They all remain in custody.
