A fourth person has been charged by the Regina Police Service in connection to the death of 35-year-old Aron Lunan.
RCMP were called to a rural area near Grand Coulee on June 10 for a report of a dead body. The Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit launched the initial suspicious death investigation. Through the investigation, the death was deemed a homicide and was turned over to the Regina Police Service because the cause originated within the City of Regina.
Kayla Mitton, 37, has been arrested and charged in connection to the murder. Brittain Volk, Patrick Akapew and Tyler Edwards had previously been arrested and are also facing charges. All four have been charged with first degree murder.
Mitton made her first appearance in Regina Provincial Court on Wednesday morning.
