One minor highway construction project wrapped up on Thursday, with another two weeklong jobs set to wrap up on Friday.

One of two projects on Highway 44, traffic was reduced to a single lane with a pilot vehicle in attendance from 12-5 on Thursday. General construction was taking place with fresh oil and loose stones providing hazards and flag people on hand for caution purposes.

Now today similar work is being completed on Highway 4, both directions near Highway 751 near Elrose. That project started Monday and is expected to wrap by the end of today.

Crews up around Biggar also have a Friday job in the form of a moving sweeping operation in the area. Drivers are asked to use caution and be prepared to stop, flag people in attendance as well until things wrap up around 5:00 PM.

Anyone taking the Highway 14 route headed east will run into more construction near Perdue. Flag people are in attendance with traffic cut down to one lane there also with another pilot vehicle in attendance.

There are two seasons in Saskatchewan: winter, and construction. Keep up with the latter using the Highway Hotline.
