The East Central 18UAAA Red Sox were more than a handful for the Saskatoon Giants last night at James Korte Field in Muenster.

The 3-1 win was in part thanks to a 10 strike out, rock solid performance by Taylor Coleman on the mound. Coleman gave up only five hits and one run over his six inning stand.

Hits were hard to come by on the Red Sox side with Jackson Fox performing admirable in the pitching department giving up three runs on five hits. Fox drove in the only run for the Giants.

Singles by Jacob Trann and Jarret Rude each drove in a run, and a sacrifice by Graydn Wilson capped the scoring.

The Red Sox hit the road on Sunday for a double header in Saskatoon against the Cubs.
