23-year-old Winnipeg man drowned at Caddy Lake

The Falcon Lake RCMP have announced that a 23-year-old man has drowned at Caddy Lake. 

Just after 1 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, the RCMP office in Falcon Lake received a call about a possible drowning. 

The RCMP, the Whiteshell fire department, and Emergency Medical Services responded immediately. It was reported that two males entered the water, however, only one person resurfaced.

The fire department was able to locate the missing man, who was underwater.  A 23-year-old from Winnipeg was pronounced deceased on scene.

The Falcon Lake RCMP is continuing to investigate the incident. No name has been released at this time.
