STARS and Wadena first responders assist in medical emergency at Fishing Lake North Shore

A post on social media reports that Wadena Volunteer Fire and Wadena EMS were dispatched at 8:19 pm to North Shore Fishing Lake for an emergency incident.  

STARS responded and WVFD set up a landing zone in the ball diamond parking lot.  

The patient, whose condition remains undisclosed, was transferred to Saskatoon for further treatment.  

Emergency crews thank the lake volunteers that keep the lots clean and mowed to make this landing successful.
