City building permits top $4 million in June

The City of Moose Jaw issued 18 building permits last month, worth over $4 million in new construction. 

The most significant project is a $2.75 million “primary industry building” project at 2005 Norwood Ave. 

In total, four commericial, five institutional and government, and nine residential permits were issued. 

Commercial projects were valued at $2.887 milliion, while institutional and government permits were worth $483,892 and residential permits brought $643,720 in new construction. 

Compared year-over-year, this is three fewer permits than June of 2024 and was worth $144,288 less. 

No demolition permits or three dwelling permits were issued in June.
