Severe thunderstorms heading to Strathmore

The Town of Strathmore is under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning.

Environment Canada (EC) issued the warning on Sunday (July 13) for Wheatland County, including Lyalta and Carseland.

According to EC, the thunderstorm is capable of producing large hail, strong winds and heavy rain.

It's recommended that residents go indoors during the storm, as lightning and hail can cause damage and injury.
