If you live in Granum, you are under a boil advisory

An Alberta Emergency Alert went out for the Hamlet of Granum on Sunday night.

The M.D. of Willow Creek shared the information about a water boil advisory via social media.

Due to a power outage on Sunday night, the advisory was issued at 11:05 p.m.

You're asked to boil all drinking water until further notice.

They shared some follow-up actions for residents to take.

Action to take:

• Until further notice, ALL water used for drinking, brushing teeth, cooking and washing food must be brought to a rolling boil for at least 1 minute before use
• Water used for bathing, showers and laundry is still safe to use; however, avoid swallowing any water used for those activities
• Municipal staff is working to restore normal operation as quickly as possible
