Diamond Valley Fire Rescue (DVFR) crews responded to a range of calls over the weekend.
On July 12, at approximately 3:20 p.m., crews responded to a reported structure fire in the 500 block of 1st SE.
There were initial reports of smoke filling a basement.
DVFR responded with Engine 3, Ladder 3, Engine 2, Squad 2, Bush 2, and a Duty Chief, along with 16 firefighters.
A Municipal Enforcement Peace Officer also responded to assist with traffic control and assisted owners with their pets.
All occupants were able to evacuate the structure.
When crews arrived, they found smoke in the basement, which appeared to be the result of an electrical issue with the furnace.
Crews verified there was no fire, and the structure was ventilated.
Shortly after, crews received a report of a residential fire alarm activation and a medical call.
