The Calgary Stampede fell short this year of breaking its attendance record.
Event organizers say this year’s final attendance reached 1,470,288, with 121,704 visitors passing through the gates on the final Sunday of the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.
That total makes this year’s 10-day event the second highest on record, just behind 2024’s attendance of 1,477,953.
When it comes to the rodeo events, here is a list of the winners:
- Shelby Boisjoli-Meged: Breakaway Roping
- Zeke Thurston: Saddle Bronc
- Scott Guenthner: Steer Wrestling
- Cooper Cooke: Bareback
- Wacey Schalla: Bull Riding
- Shad Mayfield: Tie Down Roping
