U13B Strathmore Venom take home provincial silver

It was a strong end of the season for the U13B Strathmore Venom lacrosse team.

Over the weekend, the Venom wrapped up their season, winning second place at provincials.

"They left it all on the floor in a competitive final against the Medicine Hat Sun Devils and showed determination, progress, and true Venom spirit all season long," wrote the club through social media.

The victory came two weeks after the boys achieved a 7-5 win against the Hornets, taking home the league championship.

"From the coaches’ dedication to the players’ grit. and those giant grins, this team brought the heat and the heart all season long," added the club. 

The silver medal serves as a marker for the end of the Venom's 2024-25 season.
