Police are looking for two male suspects after a male was stabbed during a robbery in Fort Garry on Sunday night.
Shortly after 10:30 p.m. on July 13, the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a call in the 1600 block of Pembina Highway after a male was stabbed by an unknown suspect.
The victim met West District patrol officers at a nearby hospital where he walked for treatment.
Officers learned that the victim was working on a vehicle in a parking lot, when two male suspects approached him asking for his personal property. While the suspects tried to steal, one of them punched and stabbed the victim several times before running away.
Due to the severity of his injuries, the suspect was transferred to another hospital and has since been upgraded to stable condition.
Witnesess were able to describe both suspects to officers saying suspect one was between the ages of 17 to 27, 5'4" to 5'6" in height, with long, dark, curly hair. He was wearing a tank top, red shorts, and a gold chain. The second suspect was described as a male in his 20s, approximately 5'9" tall with a medium to large build. He was wearing dark shorts and a dark hoodie with the hood up.
