Moose Jaw Transit has revealed the winners of its annual Bus Pass Photo Contest, highlighting local photographers whose work will appear on official transit passes throughout the upcoming year.
The contest invited residents to submit high-resolution images that capture the spirit of public transit and the beauty of Moose Jaw — from candid shots of passengers and buses to scenic routes and iconic local landmarks.
Submissions closed on June 30, 2025, with 54 entries received.
The City of Moose Jaw congratulated all the winners and thanked each person who submitted in its announcement this week.
The following photographers will have their work featured on monthly bus passes between September 2025 and August 2026:

- Brian Simmer
- Faridah Dandamun
- Helen Baker
- Jack Hodson
- Jan Swanson
- Kimiko Takahashi
- Pam Lusk
- Princess Shaira Roa
- Will Shepherdson
Each image will also appear in a gallery on the city website, at moosejaw.ca/transit.
The contest rules emphasized originality, high resolution, and a strong local connection. Photographers were asked to submit unfiltered images suitable for printing on a 3.5 x 2.25-inch bus pass, showcasing recognizable locations and scenes from around the city.
Winning entries may also be used in other promotional materials, with full credit to the photographers.
The City reminds residents that no photos containing identifiable individuals were eligible unless participants provided proper consent, and that all non-winning entries were deleted in accordance with contest guidelines.
