Three individuals have been charged with drug trafficking in Winnipeg.
The WPS' Guns and Gangs Unit launched an investigation into drug trafficking in the city in May 2025. Three suspects have been identified along with two residences and two vehicles of interest.
On July 11, 2025, investigators and the Tactical Support Team executed search warrants at a residence in the 400 block of Sackville Street and the 200 block of Roseberry Street. Three suspects were taken into custody.
After searching both locations, officers seized 453 grams of cocaine, 41 grams of methamphetamine, 10 grams of MDMA, 50 rounds of 9mm ammunition, electronic devices, stolen property, as well as items and supplies consistent with drug trafficking and drug production. The estimated street value of the drugs seized is $47,500.
A 39-year-old male is charged with:
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - METHAMPHETAMINE
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – ECSTASY
- Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon, Firearm Part or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
- Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon, Firearm Part or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
- Fail to Comply with Condition of Undertaking
He was detained in custody.
A 37-year-old male is charged with:
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – COCAINE
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
A 27-year-old female is charged with:
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – COCAINE
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
Both were released on an Undertaking.
