Team Sask 15U won by double digits in the "Las Vegas Classic" championship game on Thursday — but the jobs not finished.
After four wins and undefeated record at the Classic, Team Sask has another tournament before they return home, the "Las Vegas Grand Finale". Once again playing in the Girl's 9th Level 2 division, Team Sask is in the tournament with five other teams all from California.
The victory laurels only lasted into Thursday night with the team set for a tight turnaround on Friday to start the Finale. Playing two games today, the 15U girls are on the court at 12:30 PM Saskatchewan time taking on LA Select 15U (white), playing another game right after against the Primo Lady Soldiers.
Friday's results will set up a pair of 2v3 matchups, the winner of those games playing each pool's top seed for the right to advance to Sunday's championship round. Three games will be played Sunday to give each team a true Vegas "Finale".
Presented by Jam On It, Orobko's group is far from the only Canadian team in Vegas this past week. As you can see above the 17U team also won the Classic tournament gold before the Finale.
