Melfort RCMP investigating fatal collision

On July 15, 2025, at approximately 11:00 am, Melfort RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 41 west of Melfort.

Officers responded, along with Melfort EMS and fire services. Investigation determined that a semi-truck and trailer and a pickup truck collided. The single occupant of the truck was declared deceased at the scene. He has been identified as a 20-year old from Melfort, SK. His family has been notified.

The lone driver of the semi-truck and trailer did not report any injuries to police.
