Macklin Lakers season on the line at home after first loss

Macklin is hosting Amisk Wednesday night in Battle River Baseball League action, the Lakers season on the line after a loss in Game 2 back on Monday.

Amisk won a low scoring affair 3-2 to fend off elimination at the hands of the Lakers. Czar followed suit in the other league semi-final series with an 11-4 win over Veteran, as both best-of-3 series are now tied at 1-1 and will be decided tonight.

If Macklin and Veteran can pull off home wins it will mark their third straight date in the BRBL championship. The Lakers have won back-to-back years and will be aiming to make it three if they can bounce back tonight.

First pitch in Macklin will be at 6:30 PM.
