The Coteau Hills Baseball League championship trophy could be handed out tonight in Elrose. The hometown Aces are facing elimination as they welcome in the Beechy Breakers for the final home game of the season in Elrose.
At 5-1-1 in the regular season, Beechy finished tied for first with Dinsmore in the league's regular season standings, Elrose finishing third at 5-2. Beechy was a top offense at 71 runs for on the season, taking on Elrose's strong pitching staff who led the league with only 38 runs against.
Beechy beat the U18 Wartime Marlins to advance to the final while Elrose beat Dinsmore in the other semi; full postseason statistics not available via the league website.
