Your Thursday morning commute: here's what to look out for

There are a few things to keep an eye out for during your commute as a new round of closures and constructions kicks off this morning.

Starting at 6 a.m. today, workers will be on site conducting road repairs on:

• 200 block of Iroquois St. E,
• 900 block of Francis St.,
• Intersection of Hochelaga St. E and 1st Ave NE.

At 7 a.m. work begins at the following locations:

• 1000 block of Manitoba St. E for manhole repairs,
• 900 block of 2nd Ave. NW - pipebursting,
• 200 block of Oxford St. W - pipebursting,
• 1000 block of Grace St. - pipebursting.

Work is also continuing on the Main Street South and Home Street West intersection railway crossing; the project runs from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

The 0 block of Ominica Street W will also be closed between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m. while A/C unit changes are taking place.
