Foothills County road damaged due to rainfall is being repaired

A road in Foothills County sustained damage as a result of recent excessive rainfall.

Due to the damage, crews will be repairing Plummers Road, between 288 Street West and 306 Street West, but road access will remain open.

While the road will be open while the work is completed, it will be reduced to single-lane traffic for approximately the next two weeks.

There are signs in place, but Foothills County is recommending that people detour around the area if possible.

If you are driving through the area, use caution and expect minor delays.

The Public Works department of Foothills County will provide an update if the repair gets delayed.
