Expect some delays on Hwy 40 in Kananaskis Country

If you have plans to visit K-Country anytime soon, prepare for delays, as road work is underway.

Road construction is ongoing as a fresh layer of asphalt is being laid down near the Cat Creek Day Use area.

Just a few kilometres north of Cat Creek construction, there is road construction for approximately 33 km.

Quite a few kilometres have already been paved, but keep your eyes open for workers and reduce your speed where signage is posted.

There are also stretches of highway that don't have the centre lines painted yet.
