The rivalry may have drawn the headlines heading in, but in the end, there was no doubt; Kenny Keeler has successfully defended his title at the 2025 Stride Credit Union Men’s Open.
Keeler followed up his dramatic win last year with another clutch performance, shooting 69 and 71 for a total of 140 to go back-to-back and take the 2025 championship at the Portage Golf Club.
"Back-to-back, so that feels pretty good to verify that win last year," said Keeler. "I made it pretty comfortable myself the back nine, fairways, greens, made pars."
Rounding out the top five were Clark Bolton (147), Quentin Neff (148), Carson Inman (150), and Noah Spence (150).
Keeler previously said his goal was to “not shoot myself out of it early and just enjoy it.”
He did just that and made history in the process.
