Multi-vehicle collision on 1st street in Winkler

Winkler Police Service and Winkler Fire and Rescue have responded to a motor vehicle accident in the southbound lane on 1st Street near the intersections of North Railway and Cargill Road.

For a period of time, traffic was slowed down with detours in place as the street was cleared, but as of 1:15 p.m., PVOL reporters say the area is clear and drivable.  

Winkler Fire and Rescue has been contacted, and updates will be made as the story develops.
