Not only did the Winnipeg Jets finish the 2024-25 regular season at the top of the standings, but the team has won an award for something off the ice.

This week is the NHL Club Business Meetings, where over 1,300 representatives from the NHL’s 32 teams and League offices are in Seattle.

NHL executive vice president of club business affairs Susan Cohig said to NHL.com, “There is so much you can do, sharing information and ideas, talking about challenges, thinking about the future that in-person meetings help facilitate. It's something we’ve been doing for decades, and they’ve grown considerably in recent years."

At the meeting was the seventh annual Stanley Awards winners.

Among the winners was the Winnipeg Jets for Social Media Club of the Year.

Winners were chosen after a record 146 submissions. Leaders in the sports and entertainment industry made up the judging panel.

The Jets shared the news on social media saying, "This is now officially the best Facebook page in the NHL."

The Jets most like tweet of all time came on July 7, 2025.

Other winners include:

  • The Utah Mammoth (Home Opener Campaign),
  • Detroit Red Wings (Designer Merch Collaboration),
  • Tampa Bay Lightning (Game Presentation of the Year)
  • St. Louis Blues (Bluesnatics and Blues App, which is focused on a more personalized fan experience through delivery of unique fan journeys, automated rewards, incentives, contests, and crafting memorable moments with the usage of emerging technologies)

Each team won for the first time.
