U11 Strathmore Reds host provincial baseball tournament for Stampede weekend

A provincial baseball tournament is coming to town this weekend.

The U11 Strathmore Reds will be hosting the tournament, which kicks off on Friday (Aug. 1) at 3 p.m. and takes place at the Hillview Diamond.

Here is a full schedule of all the games:

Friday

• 3 p.m. - Fort McMurray Oil Giants Blue vs Drumheller Miners
• 6 p.m. - Opening Ceremonies
• 6:15 p.m. - Grande Prairie Reds vs Strathmore Reds

Saturday

• 9 a.m. - Camrose Cougars vs Fort McMurray Oil Giants Blue
• 12 p.m. - Parkland Twins White vs Grande Prairie Reds
• 3 p.m. - Drumheller Miners vs Camrose Cougars
• 6 p.m. - Strathmore Reds vs Parkland Twins White

Sunday

• 9 a.m. - 3rd Pool A vs 3rd Pool B
• 12 p.m. - 2nd Pool B vs 1st Pool A
• 3 p.m. - 2nd Pool A vs 1st Pool B
• 6 p.m. - Winner Game 8 vs Winner Game 9

The winner will be declared the provincial champions.
