The northbound Stoney Trail NE exit to westbound 96 Avenue NE has reopened after being closed for several hours Saturday due to a traffic incident.

“Carmacks was dealing with a traffic incident on northbound Stoney Trail NE at the westbound off ramp of 96 Ave NE,” Calgary police stated earlier this afternoon. “Please use alternative routes.”
A city traffic camera image captured at 9:40 a.m. appeared to show a semi on its side near the off-ramp, with emergency vehicles on scene.
There is no word on injuries.
