The Moose Jaw Miller Express went out on a winning note as they wrapped up the regular season over the weekend and now await the playoff schedule. 

Moose Jaw's bats came alive at Ross Wells Park on Friday night as the Miller Express downed the Swift Current 57s 16–1. 

Westin Walls pitched a complete game for Moose Jaw, allowing only two hits and one run while striking out 10. 

Moose Jaw opened the scoring with three runs in the bottom of the third. Swift Current got a run back in the top of the fifth, but Moose Jaw responded with four runs in the bottom half of the inning to make it 7–1. 

The Miller Express extended their lead with two runs in the sixth and seven more in the bottom of the seventh to seal the 16–1 win. 

In game two of the three-game series between Moose Jaw and Swift Current, the Miller Express came away with an 8–7 win on Saturday. 

Moose Jaw scored five runs in the second inning, two in the third and one in the fourth to take an 8–1 lead. Swift Current tried to mount a comeback with six runs in the top of the fifth. However, the game was called in the bottom of the fifth, giving Moose Jaw the win. 

The Miller Express completed the sweep on Sunday with a 16–8 win in Swift Current. The 57s were up 8–6 after six innings of play, but Moose Jaw exploded for nine runs in the eighth inning to put the game away. 

The Miller Express closed out the regular season on Monday with a 9–4 win over the Red Sox in Regina. 

Moose Jaw led 5–1 after eight innings of play. The Miller Express added four runs in the top of the ninth to go up 9–1. Regina tried to rally in the bottom half of the inning with three runs but fell short. 

After finishing fourth in the standings, Moose Jaw is expected to face the first-place Saskatoon Berries in the opening round of the WCBL playoffs. The playoff schedule has yet to be announced.
