A tornando warning has been issued by Environment and Climate Change Canada for south central Saskatchewan.

The areas affected include Craik, Aylesbury, Holdfast, Chamberlain, Dilke, Tuxford, Keeler, Buffalo Pound, Bethune, Findlater, Riverhurst, Douglas Park, Tugaske, Central Butte, Eyebrow and Brownlee.

Meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm that is possibly producing a tornado. Damaging winds and large hail are also possible.

Residents are reminded to take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.
