SaskPower is continuing a steady stream of work around the region.
Another planned power outage is hitting the region today, affecting three different power stations — Unity - Tramping Lake, Unity - Wilkie, and North Battleford Rural - Red Pheasant Mosquito.
The outage is set for between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM on Tuesday and will affect customers in Red Pheasant & Mosquito First Nations, along with Cando, Landis, Springwater, Handel, and Kelfield. A large rural area west of Sonningdale to Cando & Landis areas will also be without power, same with areas south of Kelfield.
SaskPower confirmed by email that the outage will affect 871 customers in the region. The afternoon work being done involves a substation in the area, as residents should have their lights back by this evening.
