Rob Carnie - Summer construction. Wow. The City of Moose Jaw just sent out a news release that everybody can access at Moosejaw.ca.

The city provides summer construction update on most impressive list of work that has been done and most noticeable around the city of Moose Jaw is some great work on our roads, some great patching work on manholes being repaired, crosswalks being painted. The city is looking pretty good.

Maryse Carmichael - It is looking very good. It's the time of the year to do all this work. We have three teams at the city; we have the engineering team looking at the long term capital construction when we're thinking about cast iron, that team is doing that. They've done a lot of replacement on sidewalks as well this summer, some natural gas standby generators have been modified, changed, and replaced this year.

And then the second team doing some of this work is public works. So when we're looking at manholes, crosswalks, all the painting of the lines, that's that team is doing this, they've been hard at work since the spring.

And then our last team that also doing a lot of work throughout the city is our Community Services Department, so when you're thinking of the Kinsmen, some of the upgrades to our slide at the Kinsmen location, some of the work in Crescent Park, the amphitheater, that's the Community Services team. So those three teams have been working diligently, all summer long, to make our city safer and prettier, and better for all residents to use.
