The Canadian Parents for French (CPF) Morden Chapter is inviting the community to a free movie night later this month.

Melanie Howe, president of the CPF Morden Chapter, says their role is to help promote bilingualism outside the classroom.

Movie night at Stardust

“We are sponsoring a free French movie night for our community members at the Stardust Drive-in movie theatres,” Howe shared, “That’s going to be Thursday, August 21st.”

The featured film of the night will be Dog Man, in French with French subtitles.

The event coincides with “Camp Soleil,” a day camp for children ages six to ten.

“It’s a camp run for Morden kids ages like 6 to 10 at Ecole Discovery Trails, and then there are counsellors from CPF Manitoba coming to run the day camp, and so then we have this like evening fun event that we want to open up to people besides just those registered in the camp.”
